Everyone fails to stop Florida shooting from happening

Here’re a couple of things that should have prevented the Florida shooting from happening.

Between 2010 and November 2016, police were called at least 36 times to the shooter Nikolas Cruz’s home.

In 2016, crisis workers from a South Florida mental health facility examined Cruz after he sent out a video in which he cut his arms and said he wanted to buy a gun. However, after speaking with Cruz, they chose not to hospitalize him.

Just few months ago, his host family warned the police about his violence, and that he had “used a gun against people before” and “has put the gun to others’ heads in the past,”

The FBI has been warned twice about the shooter in the last six months, but did nothing.

And, during the shooting, an armed deputy arrived at the west side of the building, took a defensive position, but never went in.
